8-14 March 2026 (4 PLACES LEFT)
Join us for a cooking holiday in Cornwall, set in a beautiful Georgian house overlooking Newlyn Harbour, with stunning sea views. Newlyn is one of UK’s main fishing ports, which means we will have access to the freshest seafood, straight off the boats. Alongside the seafood, we’ll also be using stunning produce, including vegetables, herbs, cheese and wine, from local, small-scale producers. Everything we cook will be inspired by the ingredients available to us, with dishes influenced by our travels. We’re excited to cook with you using these exceptional ingredients from both the land and sea.
Newlyn is situated a short drive from Penzance, St Ives and Sennen cove and is surrounded by the coast, where we can take walks along the beaches or scenic coastal paths, with the possibility to stop off for a pint in the local pub and get warm by the fire.
Throughout the six days, you’ll experience four hands-on cooking classes, learning to prepare dishes designed by Henry using locally sourced ingredients. Between classes, you’ll enjoy delicious meals cooked by us.
Outside the kitchen, we’ve crafted a variety of activities to deepen your connection with the Cornish way of life. When the tide is low we will head to Perranuthnoe beach with Emma Gunn for a coastal foraging adventure, enjoy a fermentation class with Rachel at The Newlyn Fermentary and take a tour of the famous Newlyn harbour and fish market with Rich Adams, then choose our fish for class. Later in the week we will eat at his highly acclaimed restaurant, Argoe, where they cook whole fish over charcaol, Basque Country style. The journey continues with a tour of the famous Leach Pottery in St Ives and a taster pinch pottery class, followed by lunch at St Eia, a beautiful seasonal bistro tucked behind the Tate modern . We will explore the local area, support the wonderful small local businesses and galleries and wrap up warm for some bracing walks at this time of year along the coast.
This cooking holiday offers more than just culinary learning, It’s a chance to fully experience Cornwall’s culture, from its cuisine to its awe-inspiring natural beauty. Whether cooking, exploring, or simply relaxing with new friends around the fire with a glass of wine you'll leave with happy memories.
